4. Wedded Love Frame

Start the happy couple off in style with this shimmering photo frame or give as a Valentine’s Day
gift to your special someone.

Materials:

DecoArt Products Required Dazzling Metallics

• DAO70 – Shimmering Silver Glamour Dust

• DAS37 – Glamour Dust Crystal

Supplies:

• Unfinished wood hearts: one each of 1″, 1 1/2″, and 1 3/4″
• 3″ wood “LOVE” letters
• Wedding theme scrapbook paper (We used Making Memories Stardust, 12838.)
• Aleene’s Quick-Dry Tacky Glue
• Scissors
• Craft knife
• Hair dryer with low setting
• Foam plate
• 1/2″ flat brush
• Lo-temp glue gun and glue sticks
• 3.5″ x 3.5″ Finish-It Memory Frame by Don Mechanic/ SKU 326635 (55036)

Steps:

1. Paint frame sides and back Shimmering Silver and let dry. Paint letters and hearts and, while final coat of paint is wet on front and sides, sprinkle with Glamour Dust. Let dry, then shake off excess.

2. Cut scrapbook paper 1″ larger than front of frame. Apply thin, even coat of tacky glue to front of frame. Lay glue side down on center back of scrapbook paper and press lightly to remove bubbles and wrinkles. Turn frame over and smooth paper with fingers, if needed. Use hair dryer on low heat setting to speed drying process and to prevent wrinkles. Let glue dry.

3. Place frame front side down on protected surface and use craft knife to trim excess paper to edge of frame.

4. Refer to photo for placement and use glue gun to attach letters and hearts to frame.

5. Wedding Favors in White and Silver

These elegant favor boxes, personalized with Paper Effects, are perfect mementos for your
wedding guests.

Materials:

DecoArt Products Required Paper Effects

• PE03 – Silver Pearl Supplies

• Foam plate • 3/8″ round foam pouncer brush

• Lo-temp glue gun

• 2-1/2″ white wedding rose pick

• 2-1/2″ length of white boa

• 2-1/4″ favor boxes: Wilton Industries, Inc., Stock 1006-4483

Instructions:

Monogram Box

1. Follow instructions for box assembly.

2. Use pouncer and Silver Pearl squeezed out on plate to paint dots around sides of lid.

3. Use Silver Pearl to write letters or dates on front side of box. (Wedding date can be added to back side, if desired.) Allow to dry.

4. Punch hole through top of box with rose pick and glue rose to top center of box lid.

Dotted Box

1. Follow instructions for box assembly.

2. While holding box by sides of lid, use pouncer and Silver Pearl squeezed out on plate to paint dots around sides of box.

3. Use Silver Pearl with fine tip attachment to write name on front side of box lid. (Wedding date can be added to back side, if desired.) Allow all to dry.

4. Roll length of boa into circular shape and glue to top center of box lid.
